July 9th Northwoods Muskies Inc “On The Water Meeting”
Hi Northwoods Muskie Hunters,
Please join us for our July 9th “On The Water Meeting” on beautiful Lake Mohawksin. (And yes it is Tuesday July 9th)… We will be having a friendly fishing contest with expanded fishing hours, followed by a raffle and some quick Chapter Notes. Also, please note that we have a “Big Fish Contest” carryover from June so there will be extra money in the months Big Fish pool. Here is this month’s format:
- 4:00 – 5:00 Registration at the Happy Snapper
- 5:00 – 9:00 Fishing on Lake Mohawksin
- 9:30 Chapter Announcements and Drawings
Please register at the Happy Snapper between 4:00 and 5:00pm. the cost will be $10.00 per person. 1/3 of the pot goes to the biggest (longest) muskie of the night, 1/3 goes to the winner of a random drawing and 1/3 goes to the Chapter. We also have $72.00 carry over from last month’s Big Fish Contest to sweeten the pot.
Please take a photo of your catch on a bump board and have another boat verify your catch prior to releasing the fish. Please get the witnesses name and phone number. Check in at the Happy Snapper by 9:30pm so we can include your catch in the results.
Please Note! You must register at the Happy Snapper prior to fishing. You will receive a raffle ticket which makes you eligible for the 1/3 pot cash drawing. You must be present at the time of the drawing to win. Drawings will be held at approximately 9:30 that evening.
We had a decent turnout last month in Minocqua and look forward to seeing an even bigger group in Tomahawk on July 9th!
