Northwoods Muskies Inc. Wins 2015 Northwaters Challunge

Greetings Northwoods Muskie hunters. The following is a recap of events from the 2015 Northwaters Chapter Challunge that was held this past Saturday (9/26) in Presque Isle.

26 participants made the trip: 12 from Headwaters Chapter (#12) and 14 from Northwoods Chapter (#61).

5 Muskies in total were caught, with the largest a 45 incher by chapter 61 member, Chad Popp. Also catching fish for team 61 were John Bennett with a 30 1/4″, and Howie Meyer with a 33″. Additional fish caught were by chapter 12 members, Tim Muench with a 33 1/2″, and Jim Edwards with a 31 1/2″.

Collectively, Northwoods Muskies defends its title, and retains the traveling pink muskie award for another year!
