Northwoods Muskies Inc. provides membership with an engaging program, featuring youth, fisheries and research programs, meetings on and off the water, chapter outings and tournaments, and fundraisers. Our goals as a chapter is to further the mission of Muskies Inc., by involving more young anglers, promoting conservation and getting more fish in the lakes and rivers we all love. August 8th On The Water Meeting

MembershipOn Saturday, August 08, 2015, join members of Northwoods Muskies Inc. for an on-the-water meeting and social at Big Arbor Vitae Lake, held at SLO’s PUB. This membership event will consist of the following itinerary:
- 11am to 12pm registration
- 12pm to 4pm musky fishing
- Social Hour from 4pm till ???
- Prizes and Raffles
- Steak Sandwich Specials after fishing
- Much much more!

Lake Profile
Big Arbor Vitae Lake is a 1070 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 41 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings located on the lake’s north end at public park on Buckhorn Rd. and (2) on south east Mielke Bay. Fish species present include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Walleye. The lake’s water clarity is low, and is classified as a eutrophic lake. It’s muskellunge fishery is A2 waters.
