Northwoods Muskies Inc. provides membership with an engaging program, featuring youth, fisheries and research programs, meetings on and off the water, chapter outings and tournaments, and fundraisers. Our goals as a chapter is to further the mission of Muskies Inc., by involving more young anglers, promoting conservation and getting more fish in the lakes and rivers we all love. Your participation in our events is vital to our mission and we offer our deepest thanks.

Chapter Challunge – Date TBD
October 5 @ 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
11th Annual Chapter Challunge – The 11th annual Chapter Challunge will be held Oct. 4th at the Sayner Pub.
The Northwoods Chapter will be the host this year. Fish any lake or river with a public landing from 7am to 5 pm and then be at the Sayer Pub by 6 pm for dinner. We will also have a big fish pot, $10 entry. You need a photo of the fish for big fish pot. Honor system on the rest of the fish. Fish registration slip must be turned in to Tim Sanderson before 6 pm. Slips will be available at the Sayner Pub. No cost to fish. MI members only.
Here are the details for the 2023 Chapter Challunge
- Saturday Oct 4th
- Fishing from 7am-5pm
- Any lake or river with a public landing
- Trolling and live bait allowed
- Fish registration by 6pom at Sayner Pub with awards and dinner to follow
- Most points per chapter wins
- 30 inch minimum earning 8 points with 1 point for each additional ½ inch
- $10 big fish pot
