Recap of the 2019 Northwoods Muskies Inc. Spring Awards and Membership Meeting

Thank you to all who attended and participated at our 2019 spring membership meeting and awards night. Thank you to our hosts, Norwood Pines Supper Club, John Kubisiak of the Wisconsin DNR for presenting about muskie management, and our new directors who have joined the board for 2019!

At the meeting, the 2018 Members Only Fishing Contest winners were announced and awards were presented. Nick Durkee was awarded a Fittante replica of his 2017 season winning 53-inch muskie. Dan Gropengiser won 2018 lunker of the year with a 50.25″ muskie. Landy Roepke won the men’s division with 33 fish for 297 points. Hillary Schultz won the women’s division with 4 fish for 45 points, and son, Tanner Shultz won junior division with 2 fish for 29 points.

Also, we’d like to welcome our newest board members: Jeff Kinneally – Youth Activities Director, Chris Caplan – Membership Director, Karen Stoltman – Secretary, Mason Gerlach – Activities Director.
